“We have seen amazing designs and really creative ideas through the run of this competition. The website came about as an idea to showcase the entries and in doing so give exposure to the students and universities involved” comments Rene Rose, Marketing Manager for SEW Eurodrive and member of the PneuDrive Team which organizes the competition.
The website contains all the information about the 2009 competition including a summary of each submission received. Every entrant is thereby guaranteed free web coverage which will in turn result in traffic to the university's website and exposure for the participating students to future employees.
“We feel that the new website concept is an excellent way of interacting with participating universities and students and will also give the competition wider recognition and status. It provides a platform where all the information is kept in a central place and any questions about the competition could be answered here” concludes Rene.
The 2010 competition launched early November and information is available on the website.
